This learning software has been developed to lead specialists and the ecologically interested lay public to dealing with complex and controversially discussed problems of environmental politics. Starting from the case of a controversial large investment tolerance and cultured dispute in ideological discussions as well as the way of thinking of several specialists that has been marked by their disciplines are to be conveyed.

The ecological dialogue can be disturbed considerably by two factors: you can talk at cross purposes, because the ecological attitudes differ and/or the experts think and argue mainly within the conceptual range of their own disciplines.

This programme has been split up into 12 topics which are relatively independent and can be worked through in any order whatever. From almost every place in the hypertext-hierarchy it is possible to jump to "Contents" via the menu button marked "I".
At the beginning, however, the topic CASE STUDY should be studied.

As regards contents the topics are structured in the following way: first there is a reference to the case study followed by a list of specific information concerning the topic in the main part. Afterwards the case will be looked at again against the background of the knowledge conveyed in the main part.

The topics ECONOMIC SURROUNDINGS and CENTER-PARK BISPINGEN amplify the documentation of the case study by local and poitical-economic background information and the description of a comparable investment object.

In TOURISM, ECO-SCENE, ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING and ENVIRONMENTAL LAW political and juridical problems are dealt with. SCENERY, TRAFFIC and REFUSE deal with scientific and technological problems.

EDUCATION IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS and ECO-PHILOSOPHY touch on the humanistic field.

It is recommended to follow the guided tour at first. It starts with a short documentation of the case study, followed by the topic ECO-PHILOSOPHY in which problems of cultured dispute and tolerance in the ecological dialogue are dealt with.
